Flagship initiatives
Water that reaches people, in boxes that travel.
Two initiatives we follow closely: a global push driven by Rotary, and a solar ice and water system built to be shipped and replicated.
Driven by Rotary
One Million Drops
Building bridges through water.
A global initiative, driven by Rotary, to reach one million people with sustainable water solutions: wells and boreholes, solar powered water systems, rainwater harvesting, and low cost filtration.
A solar powered ice and drinking water system for San Evaristo, a remote fishing village on Mexico’s Sea of Cortez. Built into shipping containers, it can be shipped, installed, and replicated wherever coastal communities need it.

Projects making a difference
Cleaning rivers, turning plastic into infrastructure, restoring a border watershed.
RiverRecycle
Our partner RiverRecycle collects plastic from rivers before it reaches the ocean and recycles it into useful products, in the Philippines, Indonesia, India, Bangladesh, Ghana, and beyond.
A circular economy in action: river plastic becomes recycled building boards for community infrastructure, including a solar desalination and ice facility near La Paz, Mexico.
Uniting partners on both sides of the border to stop sewage and waste from fouling the Tijuana River, its estuary, and the beaches of Tijuana and San Diego.
